Coronavirus (COVID-19) information
Since 9 June 2021, France is open to foreign tourism under a traffic-light system. The United Kingdom is currently in the “Amber” category, which means people who are fully vaccinated will be able to travel to France without a compelling reason, don’t need to present a test, and won’t have to self isolate when they arrive in France.
France only accepts the vaccines recognised by EMA and proof of vaccination is valid only if it shows that the full course of the vaccine has been administered –Caddycan Standard and Junior Portable Multi-Purpose Weather Resi
People who aren’t fully vaccinated must present during border checks:
- a negative PCR or antigen COVID-19 carried out in the UK less than 24 hours before departure (for people aged 12 and above)
- a sworn health declaration, which includes a commitment to self-isolate for seven days and carry out a PCR test in France following the period of self-isolation
